Job Description:
As part of DXC Business Process Services (BPS) organization, we deliver HR and Payroll Services to one of our customer based in Austria from our Shared Service Centre based on an “Hub and Spoke” Deliver Model.
“Hub” (Back-Office) in Wroclaw, Poland
“Spoke” (Front-Office) in Vienna, Austria
The “Spoke” is composed of country payroll subject matter experts located on site in country.
Responsibilities:
interfacing and in relations with Client’s Experts (SMEs) and external third parties
dealing with difficult/complex situations and cases
processing complex Payroll processes
performing Payroll controls (Audit)
performing Verification and control of Social contributions (declarations and payments)
liaison with country authorities as required
performing Verification and controls of Bank transfers
keeping abreast of statutory changes affecting the services, updating procedures and organizing training for Hub SSC personnel
monitoring Social and Legal changes
liaise with clients and operations teams to update operating procedures and other documentation to reflect legal changes
Liaise with clients and operations for formalize planning for tax year-end activities
Support operational team on year-end activities and check year-end reports as required
Participate to continuous improvement initiative and recommend Business Process enhancement
Knowledge and Experience Required:
Several years experience of payroll operations gained in a complex organization
In-depth knowledge of payroll calculation including end of employment and pensioners (where applicable)
In-depth knowledge of tax and contributions and Social Insurance legislation
In-depth knowledge of Labour Laws and National collective bargaining agreements
Knowledge of: Country specific declaration (tax, contribution, healthcare, pensions, life insurance) and long term sickness management
Pro-active and able to work on his or her own initiative
Ability to liaise with clients, country authorities and other members of the team outside of the country
Ability to train and coach Polish team in more complex country payroll administration
Fluent written and spoken German and English

For this position, the minimum gross salary of 39.956€ per annum applies. In any case, we offer overpayment in line with the market, depending on qualifications and experience.
