As a Global Learning and Development Specialist, you will be critical in the identification and deployment of Learning Content and a key go-to for needs analysis and deployment expertise for needs across the company with a strong focus on Leadership initiatives. You will be a key consultant and collaborator with global HRBPs and business learning leaders on all-things learning. You will be an instrumental part of a small but impactful global team and may be asked to play a role in everything from implementing learning into the talent processes to helping support our sales or customer service strategies.
The global learning team is a service organization to the business, and this person must live and breathe that mentality ensuring our programs and support provide real, tangible business impact and solve root cause problems for both the business and our employees. This is a global role where a big impact is possible. To be successful, the Global Learning and Development Specialist, works as if employees and managers are their customers; digging deep to ensure to collaborate with team members at all levels to identify or create innovative and forward-thinking solutions that solve the root cause of a challenge. You must be an excellent communicator (both verbally and in writing), act with courage and integrity, and embody a learning mindset.
This position will serve our Air Conditioning Division and can work in a remote location.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Collaborate with HRBPs and leaders across the division using needs analysis best practices to understand the key learning challenges we have and translate those into the right learning solutions
- Optimize learning content to help solve current challenges in the business and help our employees develop
- Connect internal clients with other internal and external support to help create optimal solutions
- Support HRBPs and learning leaders globally as a subject-matter expert and thought leader in learning and leadership development
- Support ongoing effort to embed competency model and supporting behaviors appropriately
- Manage external learning vendor relationships
- Design appropriate metrics and provide visibility on progress to key stakeholders
- Research and recommend emerging concepts in the leadership development and learning
- Facilitate virtual and in-person learning programs through fostering discussion, leading activities and encouraging learners to dive deeper into topics
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and feedback to other facilitators
- Support program development and execution
WHAT YOU NEED
- Bachelor's degree required with relevant experience in leadership, learning, and/or development tools
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in this role or a similar function
- Familiarity with distance connection tools like Microsoft Teams meant to assist in connecting a global team for collaboration
- Experience with Cornerstone LMS, off the shelf leadership solutions, and custom leadership solutions preferred
- Experience launching new initiatives from needs analysis to operationalizing the final product preferred
- Attention to detail, providing prompt feedback on work completed and work in process
- Solutions-oriented, critical thinking, problem-solving, challenging the status quo regularly
