The WHS Team leader leads a team of 5 - 20 employees. The Team leader is responsible for controlling and monitoring the operational warehouse activities in line with Tesla code of conduct and service level agreements.
Department: Parts Distribution Center, Leads 5 - 20 employees, Giengen an der Brenz - On Site
What You’ll Do
- Creates and actively participates in an open communication culture
- Ensures a safe working environment for all Tesla employees and visitors
- Create and maintain a customer first approach and mindset
- Accountability of business KPI’s and SLA’s
- Maintain a clean working environment in line with 5S standards
- Identify and complete training and development needs of teams to ensure business stability and growth
- Identifies process improvements that positively impact efficiency or customer satisfaction
- Participates and leads in change management culture within Tesla.
- Allocating and maintaining of resource and hardware in line with forecast
- Back-up / cover of line manager in absence
- Monitors employee performance and productivity and drive improvements based on data shown
- Interaction with Tesla departments to jointly support a higher customer experience
- Staff planning in line with forecasted volume
- 100% Visible and active within the operation floor
- Proven managerial experience in the logistics direction
- Spacious users’ knowledge of a warehouse management system
- Mastery of Microsoft Office software packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Command of German and English language verbally and written
- Safety training internal transport equipment / material.
