SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Manages the processes and the employees responsible for mobile equipment maintenance and repair.
Ensures conduct of all employees is aligned with the integrity, beliefs and values as outlined in the Levy mission statement.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develops, supports and coordinates maintenance personnel
- Improves safety and labor efficiencies, “hands on wrench time”, by providing the proper tools, planning and training
- Develops and maintains relationships with vendors and operations manager
- Develops maintenance budget and assists operations manager with over all site budget and business plan
- Manages mobile equipment maintenance costs through effective and efficient scheduling of equipment maintenance and repair
- Assists the evaluation of capital expenditures
- Utilizes Oracle eAM and iProcurement to track costs and schedule maintenance processes
- Utilizes various analytical techniques to monitor, measure and prioritize improvements to processes and equipment in order to meet production goals and quality expectations
- Coordinates teams for the purpose of improving performance and procedures development
- Facilitates process improvements and problem solving using lean concepts and team involvement
- Maintains knowledge of new maintenance concepts and technologies
- Sets up systems to implement preventative and predictive maintenance processes
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS (Skills, knowledge, experience)

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience industrial equipment repair technology
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum of five years’ experience with industrial equipment repair technology
- Supervisory experience
- Experience training and developing a maintenance team
- Process management experience
- Knowledge of Lean concepts and tools
- Experience with ERP or computer-based equipment maintenance program
- Proficient in Word and Excel.
- Ability to understand financial data
- Customer service skills
- Communication skills
- Knowledge of safety and environmental procedures
Ability to read, write and speak the English language
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Associates degree in heavy equipment repair technology or related experience
